I work with handbuilt porcelain, exploring classical forms through visible imperfections and rich surfaces. My process is intuitive: I build, stack, cut, and reassemble parts, letting the material guide each decision.
For me, making is like three-dimensional sketching: open, provisional, and never fully fixed. Iām drawn to the energy of the first gesture, where freedom and control meet, and forms emerge through attentive handling rather than pre-planning.
I suggest rather than dictate. As a result, each vase holds a quiet tension between intention and chance. Experimentation shapes the work's generosity.
I make small sculptures as well.
